Analysis of Time-frequency Domain Characteristics of String Music Chord Sound Based on Wavelet Packet Technique

The musical chord sounds, played by a guitar, are analyzed on time-frequency domain based on the wavelet packet method. Compared with the traditional Fourier Transform, the wavelet time-frequency images, which reflects time frequency characteristics of signals simultaneously, are more suitable for analyzing signals with time variant characteristics.
