Survey on Optical Vector-Matrix Multiplication

Vector-matrix multiplication is the fundamental computation in all the digital computations,which is extensively applied to linear equations solving,image processing,digital signal processing,AI and so on.At present,there are many methods to realize vector-matrix multiplication computation,in which the optical solution has the attention of researchers because of its characteristic of parallelism and multiplication.The research of optical vector-matrix multiplication is organized and summarized well,all kinds of methods domestic and overseas are surveyed,and the author's method based on ternary logic optical processor is described.The method has the advantages of simple structure,easy microminiaturization and high accuracy.
