Research on the [56,28,12] Binary Codes with an Automorphism Order 7

One of the most important issues in computer applications is to detect and correct error codes. And double self-dual codes play important roles in these fields. But now there is lack of research on the codes whose length is longer, especially to the classification of these codes. From this issue, this paper gives all [56,28,12] binary self-dual codes with an automorphism of order 7. Up to equivalence, there are 499 such codes. So this kind of codes are thoroughly solved.
