Research on Semantic Capture Method of Relational Database with SHOIN~+(D)

To deal with the semantic lack of relational database,based on the database reverse engineering technology and description logic,this paper proposes a semantic capture method that transforms relational database into SHOIN+(D)knowledge base.Database reverse engineering technology is used to extract ER model from relational database.SHOIN+(D),which is the logic foundation of OWL DL,describes ER model on knowledge base.This paper gives corresponding transform algorithm and proves its semantic preservation.A transform model is also designed,finally an example is taken to validate the feasibility and practicability of the proposed method.
