MSL(Model Specification Language)is a high-level,declarative,object-oriented modeling language.This paper introduce MSL language,how to build MSL compiler,during the build process,the compiler use FLEX as a lexical analyzer and use Bison as a grammatical analyzer,and create an abstract syntax tree(AST)and a symbol table(ST),then create an executable model.In addition,it introduces how to use the compiler to the development of WEST simulation software.The results show that WEST can be used to optimize the process of waste water treatment.
