IDENTIFICATION OF TRANSIENT TEMPERATURE ON THE FLOAT SURFACE OF A FLOATED GYROSCOPE
Yu W · 1985
The transient temperature distribution in the fluid in a floated gyroscope is desc-ribed by Dirichlet-Neumann's mixed initial-boundary value problem of second-orderlinear parabolic equations.Making use of optimization methods on function spaces, weestimate the transient temperature on the float surface by measuring the temperatureon a part of the gyroscope hull.We prove that the unknown temperature on the floatsurface(as a parameter)is identifiable and that the problem identifying the parame-ter is well-posed.We also give an optimization system by which to seek the optimalparameter.
