Evaluation Signal Transmission Delay in Multi-Channel High-Speed Data Acquisition System

The time of signal transmission delay among different channels is an important evaluation indicator of multi-channel high-speed data acquisition system.This paper presents the Hilbert-Huang transform to process the acquired single-frequency sinusoidal signal by digital signal filtering,the instantaneous phase of the filtered data is obtained through Hilbert transform,and then we can gain the correct frequency information of signal source and the signal transmission delay among different channels.Experiments show that the method is an effective way to evaluate signal transmission delay for multi-channel high-speed data acquisition systems.
