Approach to Ontology-based Information Cooperation Among Enterprises

The key of the supply chain activity is information cooperation among enterprises in supply chain. The information cooperation based EDI standards and XML standards resolve the interoperability on syntax level, but it is not enough to resolve the interoperability on semantic level. In this paper, after analyzing the information cooperation mode, the ontology-based information cooperation mode among enterprises in supply chain is proposed to resolve the interoperability on semantic level.
