An optimization design for LDPC coded BICM-MIMO systems

In this paper,we propose a concatenated accumulator as a precoder for LDPC-coded BICM-MIMO system based on the Extrinsic information transfer(EXIT) chart.In our design scheme,the EXIT curve of the joint detector is matched well to the EXIT curve of BP decoder.Furthermore,two curves can cross at the point of(1,1) in the EXIT chart.The EXIT analysis and simulation results show that the scheme can improve the decoding performance and reduce the error floors in the BER regions of interest.
