Some Thoughts about Fusion of Information from Submarine and Wire-Guided Torpedo Sensors

Fusion of information collected from submarine and wire-guided torpedo sensors(submarine and torpedo information fusion) is a very special case of information fusion applications.This paper studies some of the basic issues concerning this fusion application,including its specialties compared with ordinary military monitoring multisource fusion systems,its typical operation scenario and model,and key technologies for its development and application.Efforts are made for an objective evaluation of submarine and torpedo information fusion.Some suggestions concerning its development techniques are also given.
