Research on the Collaborative Evolution of OWL Ontologies Based on And-or Graph

With the rapidly incensement of ontology size, it is very hard for a knowledge engineer to evolve ontology alone due to the knowledge and ability constraint. So, it is important for knowledge engineers cooperate to evolve the on tology, which we called collaborative evolution. In this paper, we propose a structural OWL ontology cooperative evolution method, and introduce a kind of directed and-or graph(Change Generation Graph)to describe the engineer’s intention of ontology evolution. The confliction of change generation graphs is also analyzed, and then, this paper propose an algorithm to resolve the confliction, so that engineers’ intention can coexist, and cooperative evolution is achieved.
