Cluster-based Architecture Design of Parallel GIS

This paper proposes a new system hierarchy architecture design technique of parallel GIS for High Performance Computing (HPC) with integrating cluster system and GIS. In the architecture, some key techniques can be used and discussed, such as task management,system status detection, communication between nodes, application for parallel GIS,compile system and design language, security facility and extend grid.
