Comparsion study of Fourier transform,Gabor transform and wavelet transform

Fourier transform,Gabor transform and wavelet transform were compared.From the definition of Fourier transform a conclusion can be reached that it has the disadvantages of complete separation of time and frequency and the disability of local analysis.The inconstancy of the quality factor of Gabor transform and its limitations were educed by the time-frequency fields analysis of its nuclear function.On the contrary,wavelet transform has the advantages of multi-resolution analysis and the constancy of its quality factor.
