Discussion on Checking and Approving in Science Editing

From some different perspectives such as the first checking, the return and modification after the paper was proofread by experts, the standardization of the editing process, this paper discusses that the science editor's checking and remarking on the paper is the key to guarantee the quality of research papers, and some basic skills that a science editor should have.
