SOME MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS ON THE DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT OF A KIND OF DATA PROCESSORS (II)

The optimal size of main storage block is studied in this paper. When the block is shared by a number of terminals, the minimal memory content can be determined under given conditions satisfied by the overflow probability po. For certain special cases, recurrence formulas and approximation solutions are given.
