Through integrating the internet of things technology,EPC(Electronic Product Code),RFID(radio frequency identification),PML(physical markup language),Savant middleware and a series of other new technologies, the paper studies and develops a Savant middleware system which can read the basic data of multiple items in EPC coding at once and stores the data in the database after calculation. The paper then describes the use of physical markup language,(PML) to obtain information from multiple EPC tags,to complete the information changes and computation operations, and to update database information.
