A discrete Hopfield neural network (DHNN) model of university finance evaluation is proposed in this paper. Combined with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), this model can realize a multi-index evaluation on university finance operation. All neurons in the neural network are divided into a certain number of groups according to the evaluation index’s weight. Each group of neurons corresponds to one evaluation index, and the number of the neurons in one group is proportional to the corresponding evaluation index’s weight. The above group division method can introduce evaluation index’s weight into the neural network and ensure the rationality of evaluation model. The evaluation model is verified by an instance, which presents a new method for university finance operation evaluation.
