Parlay API Application in Next Generation Network

This paper first analyzes main characteristics of the Parlay Architecture and Parlay API application in next generation network. With considering the flaws in the development of traditional value-added services, an improved scheme is proposed, which uses the enhanced Parlay API calls (ECC) to deal with the API and develops the value-added services of NGN. Finally, this paper gives an example in value-added services development.
