Predicting models to estimate stability of rock slope based on artificial neural network

The mechanism of instability of rock slopes and the main factors affecting the stability of rock slopes are comprehensively analyzed.The compound indices are proposed for evaluating the stability of rock slope.Based on a large amount of rock slope engineering cases related to hydroelectric power projects,practical effectiveness of the theory of the artificial neural network to predict the safety of rock slopes are discussed.
