Research and Design of CATV Charging Management System

In this paper,the charging management system for CATV network is designed.The CATV signal is scrambled by frequency-shift technique in transmitter and recovered in receiver by the same method.Meanwhile,the data is encoded and encrypted for transmission security.The frequency-shift technique is effective during field blanking period,which has little loss on TV picture while it is secure.The system is validated by trial running,and it is secure and reliable.
