Channel assignment strategy combining guard channel with queuing

A channel assignment strategy for voice/data cellular mobile communication system is proposed.The strategy provides guard channel for data call to reduce blocking probability of data call.Meanwhile,voice call queuing strategy is adopted to restrain voice call blockage deterioration caused by guard channel strategy.To further improve the system performance,impatient customers are introduced.And a queue system with impatient customers is given.The simulation results show that the proposed strategy can lower blocking probabilities of voice and data call and improve system performance.
