Research on Web service data transmission optimization based on compression

Web service is an effective way to achieve service-oriented architecture. How to transfer data effectively is a key problem to consider in practice. The data transmission efficiency was analyzed based on Web service transfer principle. Then, combining with the characteristics of different data, different compression methods were used for different data to improve the efficiency of data transmission. The experimental results showthat data transmission efficiency in Web service can be improved, if the compression method is selected based on the data type.
