First spelling key searching method for telephone number book in handset

An operation-efficiency parameter of telephone number searching in handset is put out in this paper,and the efficiency is compared between several kinds of searching method of Chinese telephone number book in handset.A FSKS searching method that based the searching of first letter of Chinese phonetic alphabet is put out.The theory and realizing method of FSKS is also introduced.Test result indicates that the times of pressing keys can be decreased down to about 1/10 of that spent by general spelling searching methods.
