Simulation for acidic gas in membrane absorption process

Membrane absorption is a novel technique for treatment of acidic gas,however,the mechanism of this process is still not clear.The mass transfer behavior of SO_2/NaOH and CO_2/NaOH is different,and the reason of this deviation was discussed by several literature with different opinions.A mathematical model to describe the process was proposed in this study,and the concentration profiles of the reactant and product in the module were simulated.Results proved that the dynamic of the reaction is the reason of that deviation.
