Algorithm for Iris Inner and Outer Boundaries Location

The paper introduces an iris location algorithm based on Hough transform.According to the features of iris image,the image is pretreated with medium filter of different size for needs of locating inner and outer boundaries.And then the circular Hough transform is applied to find the exact location of inner and outer boundaries.Experiments on more than 100 iris samples show that the algorithm is fast,accurate and robust.
