An effective implementation method of Fuzzy C-Means algorithm

This paper proposes an effective implementation method of the Fuzzy CMeans algorithm. At present, the implementation of the Fuzzy CMeans algorithm adopts mainly the heuristic method, which determines all the parameters of the FCM according to experience or experiment and perform the FCM algorithm with the chosen parameters. This paper proposes an effective implementation approach of the FCM algorithm based on a new research result about choosing the weighting exponent, and selects a clustering validity function for validating the results of the clustering. In the final, the effectiveness of this method is validated by our experiments.
