Lei Lihon · Journal of Changchun University of Science and Technology · 2014

In view of image encryption algorithm is easy to be decrypted and has low encryption efficiency,a new image encryption algorithm based on generalized 2D-Arnold map and hyper-chaos is proposed. At first, the generalized 2D-Arnold map is used to change pixel location of the modified image. Secondly,a hyperchaos system are employed to produce two chaotic key streams. Two rounds of image encryption based on double keys are included in the stage of diffusion. Experiment results show that the image encryption method can resist chosen plaintext and known-plaintext attack. Security analysis show that algorithm have a secure, high efficiency, good statistical characteristics and differential characteristics.
