A Iris Recognition Algorithm Based on DCT

Iris recognition is an emerging biometric technology.It is composed of iris image preprocessing,feature extraction and matching using Discrete Cosine Transform in this paper.The basic idea is that Discrete Cosine Transform is used in preprocessed iris image and feature matrix contracts from coefficient transformed in the given velocity and accuracy,then we calculate resemblance of iris feature matrix to recognizes iris.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is much faster and achieves high-er accuracy.
