Research on Scheduling Algorithm based on MSM Input/Output Queueing Switching Fabric

Requirements with broadband and diversiform services of current information networks require better performance in expansibility for switching fabrics.This paper makes researches on Memory-Space-Memory(MSM) Input/Output Queueing switches.By analyzing the congestion scheduling mechanism of switching fabrics,this paper provides SM-RR (Strict Matching algorithm based on Round-Robin) to obtain strict matching scheduling based on fairness.Compared with current algorithms,SM-RR could get good performance without any speedup.
