Investigation of GIS in Water Resource Management

This paper has investigated the fundamental knowledge of GIS in water resource management and provided digital management platform of water resource management—Arcview.This work is based on the characteristic of water resource management and by comprehensive application of GIS,database,and other advanced information and technology.The system has been doingintegrated secondary developmentbased on VB 6.0 and Avenue languages to realize the real-time and dynamic management and spacial analysis of various water resource and related information.
