A kind of universal frame of data warehouse - reference structure is introduced. By using this structure, designer and developer of data warehouse can get more convenience. The relevant contents of data warehouse are briefly introduced, and the theory and each component of the reference structure are mainly discussed, The two ways of applying reference structure on data warehouse analysis - vertical analysis and horizontal analysis are illustrated.
