Research and application of data element registry method

Data element is the minimum unit that can describe an integrity and meaningful information in the metadata registry.In order to solve the metadata registry user's most concerning problem that how to regist a data element.The basic concepts and models of the data element are introduced first.Then the attributes(basic attributes and additional attributes) of data element are described detailedly.Two kinds registration methods of data element are put forward.Combine with the data elment60 enter system measurement of latitude,the method of from bottom to top registry is showed elaborately.Practice indicates that using the method which registration status ishave been already recordedcan regist in the system.
