Grounding technology plays an important role in power system,building facilities and the safety operation of electronic equipment and the safety of person.As a significant grounding parameter,grounding resistance s numerical value decides the electrical safety.The paper introduces the basic concepts ad methods of grounding,the grounding devices' functions and inspection methods,and lays emphasis on the introduction on how to measure grounding resistance and the factors that may affect it.
