Security Improvement Scheme of RDP Protocol

Windows server is one kind of the most widely used servers nowadays. And there are plenty of scenarios that people needs to access it from remote locations, especially through Internet. To satisfy these needs, Microsoft defined Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). In this paper, the security characteristics of RDP and some of its implementations are analyzed. Based on that, a security-enhanced approach, which integrating the implementation of SSL (TLS) and RDP, is proposed and implemented.
