Wei Bo, as a new network medium and means of communication, while promoting the dissemination and sharing of information, triggers a discussion on the issue of copyright law. Wei Bo should be deemed to be works in the sense of copyright protection, and also should be protected by the copyright law. Thus forwarding and uploading other Wei Bo may cause infringement, which is hard to define according to the present copyright law. Definition and regulation of Wei Bo copyright is necessary. Meanwhile, we can implement real-name registration; improve supervision of network operators so as to strengthen the protection of Wei Bo copyright.
