Research and Design of a New Type of Internet Telephony Based on P2P-SIP Distributed Node Discovery

By analyzing the P2P technology and SIP protocol, the advantage of distribution of P2P technique has been fully exploited. Using the CHORD node searching arithmetic, a new type of Internet-telephony system based on P2P-SIP distributed node discovery has been designed and whereas has solved the disadvantage of centralized directory server in SIP Internet-telephony, made the management easy and reduced the system charge.
