MMSE-FDE Equalization Algorithm for LTE Receiver

According to the characteristics of LTE uplink SIMO receiver,the MMSE-RISIC equalizer is simplified and the MMSE-FDE equalizer is gained.All steps of this equalizer perform in frequency domain,the complexity of algorithm decrease sharply.Through simulation in computer,the result shows that MMSE-FDE equalizer removes some the inter-symbol-interference(ISI) introduced by the MMSE equalizer in EPA and EVA channel which are the common channels in 3GPP LTE protocol,and the ability of the system is improved obviously.
