Congestion Control in DSR Routing Protocols in AD HOC Networks

Wei Cui · Journal of Lanzhou Jiaotong University · 2009

The TCP congestion control principle and source of dynamic routing protocols DSR are introduced, then the reason for the network congestion on Ad hoc network is analysed. On this basis, the way to increase the smallest congestion window properly is proposed which can improve the data throughput and the network performance of TCP.And taking the DSR routing protocol as an example, the results show its effectiveness compared with the simulation experiment.
