In view of the gradual maturity of 2-dimensional bar code recognition technology the rapid development of the Internet of things technology, together with the popularization of the smartphones, to cater to the requirement of the applications in the internet of things, the mobile phone barcode recognition system based on the internet of things is designed in this paper. And then, the architecture of the two-dimensional barcode recognition system is described, the client software and database based on the mobile phone operating system are introduced. Meanwhile, the verification is given based on Prototype. The results prove that the design has reliability ,stability and good applications in the internet of things.
