Because the crime of theft can bring about great harm to the society, it should be prevented and cracked down with a more powerful hand than before. Nowadays the crime of theft has shown its new characteristics . How to apply the criminal law to the crime of theft, firstly, we should give a careful analysis and an accurate judgment; secondly, we should give a lighter penalty and balance its crime and punishment.
