Evaluation Method for Radar Equipment Test in Small-Subsample Circumstances
Guoyu Wang · Systems engineering and electronics · 2003
In this paper, the radar equipment test and evaluation method based on the Bayesian theory with the aim to reduce the size of the samples is discussed in combination with the results obtained from the actual tests. In addition, the sequential posterior odd test (SPOT) approach is studied by using the average value of the general normal distribution. By comparing the research results with the test data and results obtained from the previous radar detection range tests, it is confirmed that the test and evaluation method based on the Bayesian theory can be used in radar equipment test without taking a large number of samples as before and the test cost effectiveness can be improved therefore.
