Application of Chaotic Time Series on Road Foundation's Sedimentation

On the basis of the chaos theory, the road foundation's deformation is analyzed according to the historical data recorders. The road foundation's final sed imentation can be predicted by using the maximum Lyapunov exponent and the whole domain method of chaos time serial. The results are satisfactory, which show that the maximum Lyapunov exponent and the whole domain method are f easible. At the same time, compared with some normal prediction methods, the ro ad foundation's final sedimentation is figured out.
