VOIP PERFORMANCE EVALUATION METHOD BASED ON NETWORK SIMULATION

Associating a true network project, this paper analyses and evaluates voip performance through the network simulation, compares the differences with different network schemes. In the mean time, the article introduces detailedly measurement metrics for the voip QoS requirements and the modeling of the www and voip traffic. The simulation methodology described by the paper can be used to compare synthetically manifold network designs, provide quantification references for the selection of project schemes and make the network system design more practical and effective economically.
