The Application of the Data Mining Technology to the System of Intrusion Detection

The intrusion detection technology has become one of the heatedly- researched programs in the domain of network security. The data mining is a process in which the new and useful models are sought out from numerous data. Applied to the system of intrusion detection, the data mining technology can detect the daily warning information and examine the special data models, which provide real-time analysis towards the intrusive law of hacker, thus improves the precision of warning security of the intrusion detection system and lessens the tension of the operators. Based on the data mining technology, the model of the intrusion detecting system is formed.
