Research on the work mechanism of CAPWAP protocol

CAPWAP protocol is used for the communication interaction between wireless terminal(WTP) and wireless network controller(AC) and it can realize all the WTP control management and data forwarding associated with AC.The paper introduces the composition and main functions of the CAPWAP protocol,puts forward the WLAN composition based on CAPWAP protocol,analyzes the WTP discovering AC mechanism,gives the interaction process of setting up the tunnel with CAPWAP protocol and discusses the message format of the CAPWAP protocol and DTLS authentication and authorization configuration.
