The Study of the Problems and Countermeasures in the Application of Project Information Portal

During the whole period of the construction, the complex information is producing continuously and need to be communicated between the various project participants.The traditional communication forms by paper are inefficient, and the project information management using the Internet is needed to improve the efficiency. The project information portal(PIP) is the window of the information management system for data acquisition and transmission, and also a platform for communications between various project participants. This article discussesthe existing problems in the application of project information portal,and the corresponding countermeasures are proposed based on the problems to make the project information portal more practicability and operability.
