A Compressed Domain Video Watermark Algorithm for Copyright Protection

This paper proposes a compressed domain video watermark algorithm for copyright protection.Combined with mpeg-2 video compression process,the watermark is embed in by Run-length Encoding(RLE) embedding different run-length codes in particular position,and in the receiver,it can be extracted directly from stream,and can be extracted when decoding run-length code.The algorithm has characteristics of low complexity and good real-time,and can be used in existing video processing equipment.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has only a few impacts on the quality of the video,and it has the rate maintenance and the anti-compression ability.
