Application of wavelet transform in earthquake-signal

Wavelet transform is used as a new frequency analysis tool.Compared with Fourier transform,the advantage of wavelet transform is analyzed in detail.Filtering noise by using wavelet transform,the high frequency part of seismic recorder will remain and seismic recorder will get high resolution and high signal to noise ratio.
