Study on grid-based routing protocol for wireless sensor networks

A new grid-based routing protocol—GBRP protocol is presented for the wireless sensor networks(WSNs)which are of the large scale and high density,used for the real-time surveillance and sudden event solving.By the simulation,the capabilities of the protocol effectted by the gridsize are analysed,and it is compared with the LEACH protocol,the result shows that GBRP is an efficient routing protocol.
