Research of GIS Application System Based on COM Pakage

This paper proposes a specification of GIS applications policies to solve the problems of difficulty and complexity during GIS development.By the analysis of function,composition and structure of the system a general application system architecture which utilizes both the GIS and COM technologies are created based on hierarchical software architecture and the technical features of COM object models.The experimental results show that the suggested method is universal,efficient and using widely.
